JD Moore
JD Moore is a Director in the Healthcare Group at Credit Suisse within the Investment Banking Division. He focuses on advising and providing capital market alternatives to health care service companies. Recent transactions include advising Advent International on its sale of Long Term Care Group, Carlyle on its acquisition of Manor Care, and Fiserv on the sale of their health care business.
Prior to Credit Suisse, JD worked for JP Morgan in both the Global Mergers & Acquisitions Group and Healthcare Group in New York, and he also spent time working in London . Prior to business school, JD spent three years as an investment banking analyst with Banc of America Securities.
JD received an MBA from Ross School of Business at Michigan in 1999 and a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin. While at Ross, JD was President of the Finance Club, a Career Counselor in the Office of Career Development, Student Government Association VP-Finance and Class Section Treasurer.
JD is actively involved in bringing students, specifically African Americans to Wall Street. Through Credit Suisse, he is involved with the Robert Toigo Foundation, the Consortium for Graduate Study in Management, LEAD, Douglas L. Paul Scholarship for Achievement Program as well as recruiting at Michigan Ross School of Business. He devotes his time not only to mentoring but also to teaching students so that they are prepared to succeed and lead.
